Computer Graphics, Human–Computer Interfaces, Fractal Space and Hyperlinks
As the personal computer entered classrooms and studios, artists began to navigate new forms of digital space, moving from intimate, screen-bound environments toward expansive, fractal geometries. and early immersive experiences. Computer graphics and emerging human–computer interfaces reshaped visual language, while laser print transfers and other hacks extended digital imagery onto physical printing surfaces. These hybrid works questioned how viewers perceive and move between analog and digital realms, foregrounding the shifting boundaries between embodied experience and computational space.
